Frame width

Frame width is the horizontal diameter of the full frame width, and it’s the primary way we determine fit. (Note: You will not find this number on your glasses.)

DEFENDERS

When we were asked to develop a ballistic pair of good looking and low profile glasses, we went to work. During this process we came to find out many other units had been looking for new shades with the same concept; Ballistic glasses that don't look like your typical ballistic glasses.

More often than not, guys go to work with glasses that look good, but offer no ballistic protection. Using Zeiss Polar Impacto lenses, we’re able to offer the best optical clarity, superior impact resistance and excellent scratch resistance due to our premium hard-coated lenses.

ENHANCED BALLISTIC OPTIC - Grilamid TR-90 Frame

Nylon-polymer injected frames with a battle-tested blend, able to withstand the most extreme adventures thrown at it. Tough, crack-resistant, lightweight as well as hypo-allergenic refuting in one of the most durable frames on the market.

POLARIZED LENS TECHNOLOGY - Polarized Polycarbonate (PC) Zeiss lenses

Glare caused by concentrated light reflecting off of various surfaces like snow, ice, and water. Reducing your ability to see clearly. Savage Optics filter out glare and transmit only the light you need, allowing the visual acuity needed in any situation. 

PREMIUM ANTI-REFLECTIVE

The anti-reflective coating provides a sharper vision which prevents sunlight and glare from reflecting into your eyes from the back surface of the lens when the sun is behind you.

ANTI-FOG

Increasing the lenses resistance to fog up in moist environments or with heavy physical effort, supporting your vision and increasing your performance.

TRIPEL / RIPEL

Lens treatment makes water and perspiration roll off the surface, rather than creating a film. The lens stays clean and free of the distortion that would otherwise be caused by the water. The lenses will also withstand fingerprints and stains, which make them stay clean much longer than ordinary lenses.

Domestic and APO shipping is absolutely free. Make sure when you send APO/FPO you put the country is United States in order to get the free shipping. If any issues arise during checkout just let us know and we will reimburse your domestic shipping.

All orders are shipped within 3-5 business days of placing the order using USPS or UPS. We don't work on Saturday or Sunday because that is when we are out exploring with our Bolt and Arrow eyewear on. 

The typical delivery time frame is between 7-10 business days. However, you may receive your items much earlier. All orders are shipped with a tracking number so you can track them every step of the way!

Packages may be faced with delays beyond our control, such as customs or postal delays. We appreciate your patience.

We have a 7-days return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, submit via your Account Portal. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

I was looking for a reliable pair of safety glasses that were durable, fog resistant, stylish and able to fit on my big ass head. The Defender EBO’s have hit that mark! As I stated above I got a big ass head and most sunglasses are make me look rather ridiculous like if I was a chicken legged fella in skinny jeans, that dog just won’t hunt. These sunglasses have been great definitely tough because I’ve already dropped them a few times from my Chevy to gravel covered terrain and not a scratch, and live up to the claims of anti-fog, what’s also nice is that the tint isn’t too dark and still handles the bright and shiny day, which is a definite plus when you’re moving around to shops, and equipment in the field. All and all definitely the best pair of safety rated sunglasses I’ve ever owned, I wish I had them in Afghanistan 2010ish.

Bought these and wore them for a summer JRTC rotation (Infantry). These were the best pair of glasses I could ever ask for. Fantastic for day and night ops. Had a bunch of dudes complaining about their other glasses fogging up at night or having other glasses that would break the first few days we were out there. These did not fog at all while using them during the day or night in 100% humidity. Easy to switch day and night lenses in a hurry. Durable, did not rust, dropped a few times on accident and had my NVG’s crash against them a few times during falling in thick brush. Had plenty of vines and trees smack against the glasses at night. Managed to make it out of training with the dark lenses having no scratches and clear lenses only having a minor scratch. I put these to the test and they did not disappoint. The carrying case as well was in a bag that was thrown around and is still in great condition. These Defenders are worth every dollar. Now that I have worn these I can’t wait for the 81 series to be back in stock.

Bought my first pair close to when company launched, lasted for years, ahh had one of those “trips/nights” pair was lost. Did not re order right away for various reasons even outside of the ebo. Went through so many returns /exchanges, no better edc than my B&As. No better all around fit, style and functionality. This is my third pair of Bolt & Arrow glasses, first Defenders. The quality is the same as always, genuinely the best lenses I’ve looked through. The lens swap process is very easy, you don’t feel like you’re going to snap the frame doing it and the new lenses slot right in. 10/10 would recommend and buy again. The only down side is the cost of postage to the UK and then customs fees on top. Still worth it though.
